It actually crackles
The wick is a thin strip of wood, not cotton. Light it and it pops and crackles like a fire in a log burner, only it’s on your coffee table.
Cedar, fig & smoke
220g amber jar, wooden wick
About 60 hours · £24
It crackles like a tiny fireplace, and your whole flat ends up smelling like a cabin in the woods.

Natural soy and coconut wax burns slowly and cleanly. Work out how long one jar lasts you:
That’s about 30 evenings: a whole month of nights in.
Every jar is poured by hand, a small batch at a time, so the popular ones go. New batches go up every Friday morning.
Next batch: Friday morning.
Same amber glass, same wooden wick, same 60 hours. Not sure? Start with cedar, fig & smoke. It’s the one from the video.
Ripe fig, cedarwood, a curl of woodsmoke.
The signature. Smells like a cabin in the woods.

Thirty-three seconds, sound on. Lines from our video, written on the back of a label:
“It has genuinely ruined every other candle for me.”
“It’s got a wooden wick, so it actually crackles, like a tiny fireplace.”
“My whole flat smells like a cabin in the woods.”
Two to three hours, until the wax has melted right to the edge of the jar. That first pool sets the pattern, so it burns evenly for all 60 hours instead of tunnelling down the middle.
Yes, every time. Snap off the charred tip with your fingers (once it’s cool) so about 5mm is left. A short wick crackles; a long one flickers and smokes.
Usually the wick is too long, or the wax hasn’t melted enough yet. Trim it, relight it, and give it twenty minutes to get going.
Four hours at most, then let it cool. Keep it away from curtains, pets and draughts, and never leave it burning in an empty room.
We pack orders by hand and send them tracked within two working days. UK delivery is £3.95, and free when you spend £40 or more.
Pop it in the freezer overnight and the last bit of wax pops straight out. Wash it in warm soapy water and it’s yours for pens, plants or cotton buds.
